Retirement

From a report from BBC News, pension advisers MGM Advantage notes that a third of people aged over 55 and well into retirement age is considering of postponing their plants because of the global recession.

“One of the most worrying consequences of the economic turmoil is the knock-on effect for those approaching retirement,” said Craig Fazzini-Jones, director at MGM Advantage.

When people should be thinking of a good and relaxed life while they approach their retirement age, they are bothered by the insecurity and instability of the economy.

There are many ways old workers are doing to try to move with the flow of a recession-infested economy. Some consider moving to smaller properties or by letting go of equities. There are those who resort to saving more while some drastically changed their plans to avoid bankruptcy.

This is sad because the elderly deserve to enjoy all their hard work. Here is a video from Al-Jazeera detailing the retirement problem caused by the recession.
